As a company that works with cardboard and corrugated cardboard, we are aware of the valuable resource of wood and the associated responsibility for the world’s forests. That is why we consistently focus on sustainability: the majority of our POS displays and packaging are made from recycled material. In this way, we actively contribute to the protection of rainforests and all other forest areas.
FSC® – A strong symbol for responsible forest management
Sustainability requires clear standards and transparency. For this reason, we rely on certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®). This independent NGO is committed to environmentally friendly, socially responsible and economically viable forest management worldwide. FSC®-certified forests and plantations are managed according to strict ecological and social principles so that they are preserved in the long term. Thanks to the high credibility and transparency of FSC® certification, we can label our products with the FSC® logo on request and offer our customers sustainable solutions.
The EU regulation on the freedom from deforestation (EUDR) – sustainability as a legal standard
In addition to voluntary sustainability standards such as FSC® , legal regulation is also becoming increasingly important. The EU Deforestation Reduction Regulation (EUDR) aims to prevent trade in products that contribute to deforestation or forest degradation. This regulation affects companies that use or sell raw materials such as wood, soya, palm oil and other forestry products.
As a responsible company, we have long been committed to sustainable procurement and the careful use of resources. We are therefore preparing intensively for the implementation of the EUDR requirements, which come into force by June 30, 2025. Together with our supply partners, we are working on making our processes even more transparent and meeting all the requirements of the new regulation.
